1. SUBMIT YOUR METER FOR TESTING AND CERTIFICATION

For purposes of submitting your equipment for STS compliance you will need to comply with the terms of the test specification. The STS Compliance Test Specification is divided into a number of sections to enable the testing and certification of STS equipment in a variety of configurations. In most cases any item of equipment, such as a meter or a vending system, would need to be tested and certified according to one or more sections of the CTS. The introductory part of the CTS, entitled "STS531-0, Quality Plan", gives an overview of the compliance test concept and indicates which parts of the test specification are applicable to various system configurations.

Notify the STS Test Centre of your intention to submit equipment for testing by completing the following order form.

After submission of the order form you will receive an email with the delivery address and additional instructions for submitting your equipment for testing to the STS Test Centre. Courier costs will be for your own account.

If the equipment is approved you will receive a certificate of compliance by email and your equipment will be listed as compliant on the website of the STS Association.

2. SUBMIT YOUR VENDING SYSTEM FOR COMPLIANCE TESTING

3. CTS TEST TOOLS

The STS Association has published a Certification tool to enable members to determine which tests are applicable to their meters. The tool allows the member to select their meter or vending system type and support options, and generates a report listing all the relevant documents and test numbers required for compliance. While every effort has been made to ensure accuracy in the test report, the STSA cannot guarantee that all reports are completely accurate - please refer to the STS test documents if in doubt. Please report any inconsistencies to the STSA so that the errors may be rectified. Note that this tool refers specifically to the STS531 set of test documents, which was published in February 2015. The test tools may be found here.
